Spring Break Packing: Beauty & Style
Spring is already here, and do you know what that means? Spring cleaning you say? No, something much more awesome โ spring break. And if you have seen any of those crazy-fun movies about spring break, you surely know it will going to be exciting and amazing. Now, you will definitely want to make some Instagram-worthy shots, so you will have to bring some fabulous outfits with you. And that is just the beginning of the whole packing endeavor. We have got you covered in that area, though. Here are some essentials every fashionable spring breaker should have in her suitcase.
Skin and Hair Care
Travels and temperature changes can be stressful for your skin and hair, so you will have to be ready to deal with all the potential issues. To keep your skin fresh and hydrated, you will have to pack a cleanser, toner, moisturizer with SPF, nourishing body lotion, sunscreen, hydrating hand cream and a lip balm with SPF. Since a bad hair day is the worst thing that can happen during the spring break, you will have to avoid that by packing a hydrating shampoo, good conditioner, leave-on conditioner, dry shampoo, hair mask and a spray or cream for heat protection. Do not go overboard with hairstyling, though, it can additionally hurt the follicle. After all, there is no better hairstyle for spring break than naturally made boho beach waves. Speaking of boho, pack a several headbands and bobby pins so you could make amazing bohemian braids when it is too soon to shampoo and too late to rock the boho waves. Now, make a checklist of all the things you will need and go through it a few times, so you would not forget something. Oh, and the most important spring break essentials you must take with you are fun, loving and party-ready friends. Bon voyage!
Passion for Fashion
Let us begin with the most important items โ clothing. First you have to be aware that you will need several outfits for each day on the break, including daytime casual clothes, beachwear and party clothes for the evening. As for the casual part, get yourself well-equipped with several cotton t-shirts (at least one white and most of them in neutral colors), jeans shorts, jeans, safari shorts, maxi, midi and miniskirts, maxi dress, etc. Now comes the easy part โ beachwear. Make sure you are up-to-date with the latest womenโs swimwear trends (monokini, fringes, flares, etc.) and pack several of swimsuits. You will also need some cover-ups and pareos.
Get Accessorized
There is not a single fashionista that would go to spring break without equipping itself with some praise-worthy accessories. Just as with outfits, you will need different accessories for different occasions. For the beach, it is the most important to take some sunglasses with UV protection, floppy sunhat and a large beach bag. For everything else, pack several trendy statement necklaces, colorful jewelry, large earrings, daytime bag, nighttime clutch (perhaps even glittery), etc. As for the shoes, flip flops are a must for the beach. Also, pack flats (ballets and sandals), sensible walking shoes for hikes and platforms for the evening.
Makeup Essentials
Every girl needs some help to shine, and there is no better place to find that help than your vanity case. Luckily, spring break does not require too much makeup, since you are aiming for a more natural look. So, you will need a primer, foundation, earthy-colors eye shadow, waterproof mascara, eyeliner, lip balm and a coral shade lipstick or lip gloss. If you want catch up with all the seasonal beauty trends, pack electric blue eyeliner for all the wild parties. Another cool trend to try is the neon eyes look.

April 1, 2016I love spring and am excited to finally get to wear skirts and dresses. Yes, knowing where you will go and how that temperature will effect my hair is so important for me. I have wavy and frizzy hair so there is no point for me to straighten my hair if ill have my hair turn frizzy within minutes.:)

April 1, 2016My version of spring is a bit different up here in Alaska. We are ecstatic for it to be over 30 degrees each day and it’s the wettest time of year as all the snow melts and makes puddles every where!
