Wake Up Happy: 6 AM Wake Up Call
Waking up at 6 AM is a great way to feel better and achieve more success! Starting your day off right will bring you energy, health, and longevity.
Starting Your Day With The Morning Sun
There is something special about starting the day with the morning sun. The world tends to be quieter and more peaceful at 6 AM. Instead of feeling rushed, rising early can give your body the time it needs to wake up.
Waking up early enough allows you to get out of bed and begin to prep for your day. Take a few moments and appreciate the morning sun. Perhaps go for a run or drink some coffee out on the porch. There are endless possibilities as to what you can do with the extra time in your day. Oversleeping is no longer an option!
Exercise In The Morning
Exercise is an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Working out at any time in the day is commendable, but it is even better to start your day with a good workout. Exercising in the morning allows you to start your day with endorphins and energy. Exercising in the morning will kick-start your appetite and set you up for burning calories all day. It can be a difficult habit to form but once you start, you will be hooked.
Have Breakfast (without rushing)
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Often times we get caught up in rushing to work and arriving on time that we miss breakfast altogether. It is important to make the time for a healthy breakfast in the morning. Also, the type of food counts. For example, oatmeal or a green smoothie, has been linked to weight loss. Eat and lose weight? Meditate
It is often said, successful people meditate early in the day. The reasoning behind the meditation is to calm the soul and mind. Liberate any negative thoughts and focus on positive vibes. Meditating is a powerful mind exercise which may help train one to organize daily tasks in a stress free manner.
Enjoy More Daytime
We have all heard it and probably said it, βthere is just not enough hours in a day.β Actually there is. Waking up at 6 AM will give you the time to realize you can do more. Making the extra time is key. Organize the extra time and make sure to fit in some βmeβ time.
There is beauty in seeing the sun rise and telling yourself you got this, you have the whole day ahead of you!

May 25, 2016I am so not a morning person but I am really trying to change that. I always feel so much more productive and motivated on days I wake up early, it’s just getting out of bed that kills me.

May 25, 2016With my other half not getting home from work until 2-3 am, it makes it hard to be up early in the morning. However, we do always have a healthy high protein breakfast.

May 25, 2016I usually wake up around 6am, my trouble is not motivating myself! I should start off by working out, that would truly help, I know this because it was part of my routine last year! This is a great post and so inspiring, thank you for sharing. π
