My Favorite Top 10 Beaches in Florida
Florida — The Sunshine State or the land of the sun, the sand and the sea is blessed with the world’s best pristine beaches with around 1350 miles coastlines, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean in the East coast and the Gulf of Mexico to its west. Floridian beaches are the dream of any beach lover. Whether you like secluded beaches with powder-fine sand and crystal clear water or beaches with live entertainments and best beach parties, Florida has everything to offer. Before you plan your next beach vacation, check out the list of my favorite top 10 beaches in Florida!
1. Clearwater Beach
Clearwater beach is one of America’s finest white-sand beaches which has everything that makes it any beach lover’s paradise. Nothing can compare the feeling of walking barefoot on its white-sugar-powder-fine-sand and be playing with its tranquil turquoise waters of Gulf of Mexico. The beach is full of life with water sports adventures, live entertainments and amazing dining options in its vicinity. But the most amazing thing about Clearwater beach is its breathtaking sunset! No doubt, this is my favorite beach in Florida!
2. Siesta Key Beach
Siesta Key is in a vicinity to downtown Sarasota, situated between Robers Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach gives laid-back vibes for a perfect family vacation. It has many beach-side picnic areas and playgrounds. Go kayaking, shell collecting or hop on a catamaran for more active pursuits. Siesta Key is also home to candlelit restaurants and cozy rental cottages ideal for a romantic getaway.
3. St. Pete Beach
St. Pete beach is magical with its eight major barrier islands, sugary-white sand, dolphins frolicking just offshore and breathtaking sunset. This beach is every photographer’s dream to capture picture-perfect postcards. You can live it up with a variety of water-sports, from parasailing and stand-up paddle-boarding to windsurfing and kite-boarding in tranquil waters of Gulf coast of Florida.
4. Hollywood Beach
Hollywood beach is nestled between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Hollywood Beach features a one-of-a-kind oceanfront promenade called the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk that stretches nearly two and a half miles along the Atlantic. The beach Broadwalk has brick-paved thoroughfare which is a haven for joggers, bicyclists, roller-bladers and all who’d prefer to take the action from the comfort of one of the countless eateries and cafes along the way. Hollywood beach is also the home of some of the best luxury oceanfronts hotels and resorts.
5. Fort. Lauderdale Beach
Fort. Lauderdale beach is among one of the major attractions in the city of Fort. Lauderdale with its world famous coastline, which is punctuated by an array of shops, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and entertainment venues. In earlier days, it was the popular spring-break destination but nowadays, it is famous for its sparkling blue Atlantic water, high-end resorts and mega-yacht capital of the world!
6. South Beach, Miami
South Beach is an international playground, famous for its non-stop nightlife, best beach parties, sandy shores, luxurious hotels and resorts, unique Art Deco architecture and plenty of eye candy. No doubt, this is one of the world’s most renowned beaches!
7. Daytona Beach
Daytona beach is in the Atlantic’s coast which has hard-packed sand where driving is permitted in designated areas. It’s known for Daytona International Speedway which hosts February’s iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race. Near the boardwalk’s rides and arcades, Daytona Beach Bandshell stages free summer concerts. Steps from the beach, Daytona Lagoon water park offers go-karts, laser tag, and water-slides. It’s perfect for a family getaway!
8. Palm Beach
Palm Beach is famous for its majestic palm trees, ritzy beachfront mansions, celebrity residents, upscale beachfront resorts and pristine beaches. The 16-mile long, half-mile-wide island is the epitome of wealth and extravagance.
9. Fernandina Beach
Fernandina Beach is on Amelia Island at Florida’s northeast border. August 29, 2016I have such great memories at Clearwater Beach. My grandpa had a condo just down the road in Indian Rocks Beach and we spent a few weeks during our summers there. I also love that you included a map of all these beaches at the bottom! Great idea!
