Winter Lookbook | A Trip To New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania
For all fashion lovers, winters are the best time of the year to utilize your creativity and create your unique signature styles to keep yourself warm as well as show some winter swagger. It is also the time to say goodbye to your cute outfits and let your coats, jackets, boots and hats steal the show.
For a person staying in Florida who has never experienced the temperature dropping below 50, going to up-north tri-state of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania would be a perfect bliss to experience the winter wonderland. Therefore, this Christmas holidays I went to north to experience the winter. I was excited not only to explore amazing places but also to flaunt my winter outfits and show some winter swagger.
Here are few of my favorite winter outfits that I wore during the trip.
The Amish Look
I wore this outfit when I visited Amish Country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I wanted to keep myself warm as well as look elegant. For this look, I layered like a pro with two thermal wears and long maxi dress. I styled the outfit with long vibrant Epaulet Embellished Long Buttons Coat by Dress Lily. As it was a windy day, I also added blanket scarf from Forever 21. I wore boots from H&M and put all my essentials in my favorite Louis Vuitton bag.
The Big Apple Look
The Big Apple is the hub of one of the best street fashions in the world. When you’re in the city, be prepared that you won’t get time to show mercy to your leg. The city has always high energy buzz and to compete with the crowd, you need to walk. Thanks to my long boots from Zara, my savior. They were very comfortable. I spent almost 14 hours in it and they didn’t disappoint me. I also loved wearing my H&M spring dress with 2 layers of thermal wears. I wore Black Belted Front Skater Suede Coat from Zaful. I loved its blend of Leather & Suede fabric which was cozy and quite comfortable. To complete the look, I added vibrant yellow David Jones bag.
The Philly Look
I went to Philadelphia on New Year’s Eve. The temperature was below 50 that day. Moreover, I had to see fireworks on the riverside at Penn’s Landing. Therefore I wanted to be packed from top to bottom. I put on my favorite Alina Double Breasted Coat from Guess. I wore double inner thermal wear and paired the coat with Brigitte Faux Leather Pants from Nordstrom. I repeated H&M boots and LV bag. I styled my entire look with red Stretch-Knit Twisted Headwrap from Forever 21 to create a signature style.
The Princeton Look
The Princeton day was a beautiful sunny day with the temperature in 60’s. So, I thought to give rest to my long coats and decided to go with Tommy Hilfiger bomber jacket with red woolen sweater from Old Navy. I paired it with my favorite culotte trousers from Zara. To keep the look sporty, I paired it with black H&M shoes. I added my favorite LV bag to complete the entire look.
The Atlantic City Look
For the party city of the East Coast, I wanted to look sparkling and shiny. I added H&M black and white knitted top with a silver skirt from Topshop Minirok. I wore Brigitte Faux Leather Pants from Nordstrom to keep my legs warm. I repeated Alina Double Breasted Coat from Guess and red Stretch-Knit Twisted Headwrap from Forever 21. To complete the entire look, I added Michael Kors pouch bag and Sephora Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Duo Lipstick.
I’m glad that my last trip of 2016 turned epic with lots of memories to treasure for life. I not only got the chance to meet few of my old buddies but an awesome opportunity to flaunt my winter outfits.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I’ll share series of post covering every destination in the coming blog posts soon!

February 9, 2017You definitely look cozy. I’m from the south and live in Baltimore at the moment – it definitely took some time to get used to the cold weather but I love all the layering and style options I have now.
