The Ultimate Beach Vacation Packing Guide
There really is nothing quite like a beach vacation to relax you completely and wash away the stresses of modern life. You really cannot beat lying on a beautiful sandy beach soaking up the sun, and swimming when you want to cool down. This is a most popular vacation across the world.
On the surface, packing for a beach vacation seems like a simple task. To a certain extent, it is. However, I have noticed that there are items that people tend to forget. So, I thought a simple beach holiday packing guide would be useful.
Look beach ready
Of course, top of the list is beachwear. However, everyone is not comfortable wearing two-piece bikini on the beach. So you don’t have to if you do not want to!
If you are not planning to go in the water, a nice sundress can be a better option. It allows you to soak up the sun, go for a paddle and you can wear it for lunch or a day of sightseeing. There are also great beach shirts, shorts, kimonos, culottes, sarongs and playsuits available this season that will make you look fab on your dream beach vacation.
The right footwear
You also need to choose the right footwear. If the beach is around the corner from where you are staying, flip-flops or strappy sandals is fine, but if you have a long walk to get there your feet will be a mess by the time you get there. In that situation, a better alternative is a pair of soft beach shoes.
Protect yourself from the sun
Spending time in the sun is lovely. It is a fantastic way to recharge your batteries, but you need to protect yourself as well. That means using sun cream, good quality sunglasses and some sort of hat with a brim. If your hair gets brittle easily, it is particularly important to cover it when the sun is at its hottest. You may also want to try hairspray that has UV protection built in.
Fitness gear
If you like to stay fit, it is always good to enjoy a workout when you are on holiday. Taking some basic fitness gear gives you the opportunity to try something new while you are away. For example, go for a run in a new place, or give beach yoga a go. There are some nice long-line swimming costumes in the shops this year. These versatile items of clothing flatter the figure, so they look great in the gym as well as by the pool or on the beach.
Staying occupied
If you get bored easily, it is also important to think about how you will entertain yourself while on the beach. Remember to pack something to read, and maybe some music to listen to, as well as the devices you will need. Many people buy a cheap mp3 and second-hand e-reader with a sun-friendly screen to use on the beach.
Ok, so there you are, that is it everything you need to look stunning and beach ready for your coming beach vacation. The most important thing is to stay happy and enjoy your vacation fullest!

March 28, 2017I would love a nice beach holiday right about now. I agree a sundress is a nice option if you don’t want to go into the water. I need a new swimsuit saying that x

March 28, 2017I never pack for a vacation with purpose, I am the worst at it! It’s a great idea to have a plan when packing, especially for a vacation at the beach! It’s so easy to get caught up and miss something you need (like sunscreen – I’m so horrible at remembering it). Great post!

March 28, 2017I love beaches. The blue water and golden sand are my weaknesses. I am not comfortable in a two-piece bikini and hence i opt for shorts or short loose dresses or sometimes even wrap on skirts!
