Dressing With StyleWe | My Favorite LBD’s This Season
The term ‘Little Black Dress'(LBD) was introduced by Coco Chanel in the fashion world back in the 1920s. Since then, it has been a timeless possession of every woman. Whether you’re fond of trending fashion or adore the vintage style, there is always a place for LBD in your closet. No doubt, the color Black adds a charisma to your personality. In the words of well-renowned German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, “One is never over- or under-dressed with a little black dress.” Therefore whenever you’re in doubt as what to wear on a special occasion, a little black dress can never let you down!
As you must be knowing by now that I’m a freak of online shopping and as a style traveler, I keep on hunting new online stores for affordable brands to wear on my trips. My recent discovery is StyleWe.com — an online brand featuring the work of independent fashion designers from around the world. I was stumbling across their website and saw many beautiful dresses from its collection but couldn’t resist this A-line Crew Neck Crocheted Lace Pierced Little Black Dress.
This dress comes in 2 pieces — an inner slip and the outer crocheted-lace-pierced mini dress. I loved its A-line Silhouette as well as the blend of a delicate crochet and lace work. The dress is fabricated in elegant floral lace pattern. Nothing can be more trendsetting than its beautiful Crew Neck and Sheer sleeves that add a touch of glamor to it. The detailing of lace creates a signature style in itself. The dress has a mid-weight thickness so that it won’t be blown in the wind!
I wore this dress and went on a dinner date to TATEL Miami, an upscale Spanish eatery at the Ritz-Carlton in South Beach, Miami, Florida as well as attended cocktail dinner at two conferences in Central Florida. To add a pop-up of red, I styled this dress with Michael Kors red wedges and added a red lipstick from Mac. To complete the look, I wore Swarovski earrings, Rado watch and a Clutch Bag from L’Oréal!
The second dress that I ordered from StyleWe was A-Line 3/4 Sleeve Asymmetric Midi Dress. This midi-dress looks formal and classy. You can even style it with accessories and give it a casual look.
The V-neckline of this dress adds a glamorous appeal. The patchwork of two butterflies on the end of the sleeves are pretty. My favorite part is two pockets in the front as I’m fond of pocket dresses. I wanted to keep a simple look of my outfit, so I didn’t accessorize it. I wore Aldo stilettos to complete the entire look. As it is rightly said that a black dress and high heels don’t need anything more! I wore this dress at one of the formal meets in Naples, Florida as well as my Toastmasters Club. The fabric of this dress is polyester, so it would be just perfect for a Fall/Spring season.
Where can you wear these dresses?
As black little dresses are timeless pieces, you can wear both the dresses for attending any special or formal events, cocktail parties, prom-nights, holidays, girls-night-outs and dates to flaunt your signature style.
Final Verdict
I love both of my dresses and would recommend StyleWe to anyone who is looking for designer pieces at an affordable range. Few of the dresses on its website are absolutely gorgeous and would be even perfect for a runway fashion or a red-carpet dress in a budget. I also loved their stunning collection of the sensational black dresses. I’m going to repeat both of these dresses on my trip soon!

August 5, 2017I love the first dress so much! (Although I am not sure that I would be able to handle the length, its a little short, and I am really tall) BUT as much as I love the first dress, and how you paired it with some beautiful pink pumps, I am IN LOVE with the second dress. The second dress is definitely my style. I am going to have to look into StyleWe and if they offer shipping to Sweden. If not, I will definitely be suggesting it to my mom!
