Celebration, FL | A Cutest Town Built By Disney
In the last few years, my husband and I drove on Interstate 4 for the gazillion times. Of course because of my favorite places on earth i.e Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort but trust me, I had no idea that Celebration could be a name of any town. I always used to think that Celebration might be a synonym for Disney World! đ
However, last weekend we decided to take Exit 62 to explore what exactly is Celebration and glad we did because what we found was totally overwhelming!
The Celebration is a cute little town in the vicinity of The Walt Disney World in Central Florida. It was built by Walt Disney Company in the mid-â90s. Did you know that Celebration is among the 10 prettiest towns in the United States?
The exact reason why Disney built this town is unknown. Some people say that the idea of building Celebration came out when Walt Disney company became worried that the land, originally purchased by Walt Disney during the planning of WDW in the 60s, was in danger of being retrieved by the state. Others say that Disney built this town for their employees to stay in the vicinity of WDW. However, some people also think that it was a smart investment.
From splendid pastel-colored buildings to palm trees lined streets, walking in the Celebration Town Center gives you the vibes of a combination of places such as The Main Street at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Boardwalk and some parts of Hollywood Studios. Everything looks just picture-perfect!
Celebration is also home to many cute cafes and restaurants. Some of the popular are Cafe D’Antonio, Sweet Escape Celebration, Market Street Diner, Celebration Town Tavern and Columbia to name a few. However, we already had our breakfast, so didn’t try anyone.
We only went to Starbucks and had our regular latte and macchiato. Speaking of Starbucks, don’t forget to take a picture of the below wall as its totally worth for all the Starbucks lover!
While strolling around the Town Center, we also came across many jaw-dropping vintage and luxury beauties which were hard to resist! This green Lamborghini was one of my favorites!
The celebration is also home to many annual festivals such as Oktoberfest which celebrates the beginning of the Fall as well as Now Snowing during the holidays. If you ever get an opportunity to visit Celebration during these times of year, you shouldn’t miss a chance!

If you’re planning to visit Walt Disney World soon, you can spend a few hours in this town. There’re many cool spots for taking pictures. Stroll around the Town Center, explore a few shops, grab a bite and soak the ambiance around! Moreover, if you’re obsessed with anything-Disney, Celebration, Florida gives you a perfect opportunity to experience the natural progression of Walt Disney’s dream of mixing commercial and residential area.
Do share your experience if youâve ever visited Celebration before in the comments below? If not, what do you think about this town?
Till then, Happy Wandering!
