7 Time-Saving Beauty Tips For Busy Moms

Most moms are usually busy with taking care of their young ones and house chores. It is important to have a beauty routine as it helps in acne treatment and saving time. Few time-saving tips can help the busy moms to be able to cope and maintain good health. Skin peels and other skin conditions can be prevented with a good skin care beauty routine. The day seems to pass by in no time and as a mom, one is always occupied with the young ones.

1.Water

This is one of the most important things in the human body. It is advisable to take at least six to eight glasses of water per day. There are many advantages of taking water and ensuring that one is well hydrated throughout the day. This includes flushing out toxins in the body, brighter eyes, glowing skin, increased energy, and prevention of common illnesses. It is important to have a water bottle within reach at all times so that all you need is to keep sipping from the bottle.  For an extra benefit, one can add or squeeze a slice of lemon as this will add to vitamin C in the body.

2. Simplify the beauty routine

It is true that most moms are busy taking care of their children, but this is not an excuse to walk around looking like a zombie. It is important to take care of yourself as you take care of your children. You should not forget your beauty routine simply because you are a mom. The tip is to forget the smoky eyes together with the contoured faces and instead, one can concentrate with a moisturizer that helps with gradual tanning at night. This helps to fake a holiday glow, and the look can be polished using a mascara and a bronzer.

3. Eyebrows, eyeliner, and eyelashes

To save time, it is important to know what you need and eliminate the things that you do not need or want. The eye area is very important because most women look better when they have a little definition around the eyes. Therefore, working on the eyebrows, eyeliner and eyelashes are part of the beauty routine that one should not forget. The tips that can help when working around the eyes include doing either an eyeshadow or eyeliner when using eyeshadow, as using both will take more time. It is advisable to go for a neutral, light color and swipe it over the whole lid.

4. Use the dry hair shampoo

This is one of the best time-saving tips that can be of great help for the busy moms. Who has all the time to wash, dry and style the hair on a daily basis? Using a hair dry shampoo is the easiest trick and can work for every single mom. Spray it into the hair, work it through, brush it out and you have the hair instantly clean. This does all the work on the hair become simpler and worthwhile for every woman who wants to look good despite the busy schedule.

5. Whitening strips

This is a good tip for moms who want their teeth to remain white despite their busy schedule. The time for going to the dentist to have the teeth whitened are over as no one has the time for the same. The teeth whitening strips are here to help with the job.  All that is needed is to apply the strips before going to bed. One can notice a difference in their teeth within a few weeks.

6. Use nappy boxes

The nappy boxes come in handy when storing the old clothes, and this helps one to have ordered at home. The boxes are left lying all over instead of using them for the right purposes. The advantage of using the boxes is that one can stack them on top of the other one. The box can also be sealed when it is full, and this makes the home have ordered. This tip will help to save time when going to that function with the baby because you know the right place to get those cute socks.

7. Shower at night

It is advisable to shower at night, especially in cases where you have an early appointment. Showering in the morning might be impossible when the nanny is not around. Allowing the children to roam around the house unsupervised may be a cause for havoc, and this can lead to accidents. It is advisable to prepare the previous night for the things which need to be done the following day.

    1. Water is a must in every routine, actually in everyone’s life and it’s one of the best beauty “products” out there. This tips are also great for busy persons, not only for moms. Sharing this.

    1. Great tips! I am definitely a fan of those already. I can say I couldn’t possibly live without dry shampoo, it’s my best ally, specially as I am trying to stop myself from washing my hair every single day. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Great tips! Somehow I just manage to skip some of them even if I know that evertuthing would go so much smoothlier if I could stick to some basic routines. It’s so easy to blame the time and how it’s flying. I try to leave home with a bottle of water, but very often I come back and hadn’t had a sip of it. Thank you for reminding with these tips 🙂

    1. I find when I ear eye make up without foundation, I look insane lol somehow heavy make-up seems to set it more and it doesn’t run. I wish my skin was good enough to be a minimal person! I’m sure once I have kids I won’t care.

    1. I’m not a mother but is it bad I do most of these? I have bright red hair which the dry shampoo is a lifesaver! My everyday look I literally only put on a bit of moisturiser and mascara and I try to drink at least 2 litres of water a day to keep the skin hydrated always. Great post, these points certainly help me.

    1. Good tips! I definitely think that simple is better when it comes to skincare routines, putting too many products on the skin is time consuming and most of the time doesn’t make any difference anyway. Really good idea about the nappy boxes too!
