Enhance Your Skin Tone: Remove Fine Lines & Wrinkles
At some point in our life, we will begin to start seeing the visual signs of aging – from wrinkles around your lips or eyes, sagging skin, and age spots. While there aren’t that many options available for most of us to turn back the hands of time, that doesn’t mean you can’t soften the effects of aging.
Fine lines and wrinkles are caused by the skin’s natural breakdown of elastin and collagen, due to years of overexposure to the harmful UV and rays from the sun. Fine lines often appear around the mouth and eyes in your thirties, so stop them before they develop with these treatments of how to enhance your skin tone and remove fine lines and wrinkles.
What are the main causes of fine lines and wrinkles?
Factors that encourage wrinkles, and fine lines include:
- Skin type – light-colored skin is more sensitive to damage
- Heredity
- Smoking
- Sun Exposure
How to Enhance Your Skin Tone and Remove Fine Lines and Wrinkles?
1) Prevention
The first line of defense against fine lines and wrinkles is through prevention. Avoiding the sun as much as possible will slow down the process of effect and damage. Stop them before their racks by following a skin-smoothing skin care regime that includes fine line fighting ingredients. Use serums that contain high concentrations of aging-fighting active ingredients that are more potent than regular moisturizers and creams. Look for anti-aging ingredients such as soy extract, alpha hydroxyl acids, argan oil, goji berries, and papaya to help prevent wrinkles before they happen.
2) Facial Exercises
Believe it or not, you can gain a natural youthful glow without surgical treatment. One of the best ways to enhance your skin tone and remove fine lines under eyes is to exercise our face. Facial exercises will enhance skin care, health, ton suppleness, vibrancy, and elasticity – giving you a healthier glow. Toning and exercising your face will strength the supportive muscles that prevent wrinkles and improve your skin strength and tone.
Facial exercise will increase the blood flow to the skin, bring nutrition to your skin and remove toxins that cause wrinkles and acne. When done correctly, face exercises will firm your jaw line, smooth and tone your cheeks, debag dark puffy eyes, make lips fuller – making your appearance more youthful.
3) Antioxidants
Antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, E, and beta-carotene will help reduce the signs of aging. Use products that contain antioxidants to provide sun protection and improve wrinkles. Research revealed a direct link between early signs of aging and low vitamin C intake. Reverse the skin’s aging process from the inside out by following a healthy diet with zinc, selenium, omega-3 fatty acids, coenzyme Q10 to help fight wrinkles and promote collagen production.
4) Moisturizers
Once signs of aging appear, the most important skin care product to use is a moisturizer as it plumps and hydrates the skin – to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. While skin care advertisements claim to reduce the signs of aging, moisturizers are to be used as a daily skin care step in your routine as wrinkles don’t go away permanently solely by moisturizers.
5) Injections
Botulinum toxin injections like Xeomin, Dysort and Botox, can provide a quick fix to fine lines and wrinkles. When given in tiny doses, this toxin allows the facial muscles that cause frown lines, crow’s feet and wrinkles to relax as they are made with a purified version of botulinum bacteria. These types of shots take less than a few minutes and cause very little pain. The treatment will take about 7 days before you notice results though you will see smooth skin instantly. The muscles will slowly be able to contract again, meaning you will need to maintain injections every three to six months, depending on the severity.
6) Procedures
Dermabrasion is a procedure that “sands” out the skin’s top layer. Microdermabrasion will treat severe sun damage as it releases tiny crystals on the skin to exfoliate the outer layer. There are surgical options like eyelid surgery, face lifts and brow lifts that have been proven to be very effective in treating fine lines and wrinkles. While some are only temporary solutions to aging, there is a permanent solution to choose from.
Be sure to pamper your skin like a baby and treat yourself to an oxygen or vitamin C facial that will fight wrinkles and brighten skin. Bellaplex is a daily skin care product that helps smooth skin and boosts collagen to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

June 16, 2016I wouldn’t go for the injections (perhaps I should!), but all others on the list are things I try to take care. Probably the sun is the worst as growns up very north it’s always been a great joy to be in the sun as long as possible (and unfortunately getting red!) because it’s not a year around treat.
