Summer Getaways Lookbook 2019 | 10 Outfits Inspiration
Summer 2019 is just officially around the corner — who else is excited about it? If you’re looking for the outfits inspiration for your upcoming Summer getaway or simply want to revamp your closet with new Summer trends, I’ve got you covered with my Summer getaways lookbook 2019. Thanks to our Florida’s weather, we were fortunate enough to experience the Summer in its full swing since April. Therefore, in the last few months, I’ve got enough opportunity to flaunt some of my favorite Summer outfits on my recent trips.
Enjoy the round-up of 10 of my favorite street styles from Summer lookbook 2019!
i) Go for a two-piece set
One of my personal favorite trends this summer is a two-piece set. From rompers to jumpsuits to skirts, the style is effortless to wear and creates a signature style. Moreover, these pieces are so versatile that it gives you many options to wear them together or separately transforming into other outfits.

This darling orange floral two-piece romper set from Billabong is the favorite addition to my Summer wardrobe. I wore this dress on my recent trip to Miami Beach and got many compliments from the random strangers. The fabric is light perfect to beat the Summer heat. I’m going to repeat this set creating different outfits while pairing them separately with denim shorts, ruffle skirts, crop top and pants this season.

I’m obsessed with this two-piece jumpsuit inspired set from Guess. The floral top and bottom are two different pieces with the same prints & sold separately. I paired them together to create a mono printed look. This two-piece set is love at first sight and you simply can’t ignore how gorgeous they look. I wore this outfit while strolling around Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida and was stopped by an old lady who asked me from where did I buy this outfit!
If you’re thinking of buying some signature pieces this Summer for your getaways or just simply adding to your wardrobe, the two-piece set would be an ideal choice!
ii) A jumpsuit is always a good idea
Whether you hate or love jumpsuits, it is the hottest trends of 2019. From runways to street styles to weddings, jumpsuits are easy to style for any occasion. They are comfortable, minimal and easy to pull off. Whether you’re running to do errands or attending a formal or casual event, you can never go wrong with jumpsuits.

The best part about stocking jumpsuits is you can wear it in any season depending upon its fabric. You can also layer up in chilly weather. If you’re planning to buy jumpsuits this season, go for bold monochrome colors or pieces of denim as it would be easier for you to style into different outfits rather than the floral ones.
iii) Try the pleated-skirts
A pleated skirt is one of the trends that you don’t want to miss this Summer. Pleated skirts were popular in 2014 & no doubt if you see someone rocking the street style with a pleated skirt and monochrome/white or graphic tee this Summer. The style is chic and inspired by 1950s silhouette.

iv) Spread your Summer swagger with printed or bold colors pants
If you want to try something trendy this season, go for printed pants. They are so comfy and effortless to wear. Printed pants also give an attitude to your personality. Wear them either with a white tank top for a casual look or through a Summer jacket for a formal look & you’re good to go anywhere!

v) Nothing can beat the comfort of Linen Pants & Culottes
When you want comfort without compromising your style, linen pants are a life savior. The fabric of linen is ultra breathable and perfect for beating the heat in Summer. It not only makes you feel cool but also it looks cool and trendy. Whether you’re going for work, date or traveling, you simply can’t ignore how comfy linen pants are!

Culottes or wide-leg pants are revamped from the ’90s heyday and also joined the trend in the last few seasons. Perfect for late Summers when you need something more than shorts & less than jeans to flaunt your street style swagger.

vii) No Summer without shorts and skorts
It is impossible to imagine Summer without shorts. One of the must-have Summer essentials. From running errands to date nights to brunching with your girlfriends, use your creativity to style shorts/skirts for any occasion.

viii) A cute crochet or lace dress has its own charm
A cute lace or crochet dress is always a good investment. You can wear them for years and for seasons. Whether you’ve to attend a cocktail party or wedding or an event this Summer, nothing can beat the elegance and charm of a crochet/lace dress. Even you can wear them at work with or without a blazer, heels & accessories if you want.

What I loved most about lace dress is its inherent texture that gives an ultimate elegance to your entire look. Whether you want to go for waist accentuating lace dresses or a simple lace shift dress, the lace dress trend is going to stay for some time.

ix) Say yes to anything floral
If you’re someone like me who is gaga over floral prints and never miss a moment to wear them, you’re in luck as floral prints have been one of the favorite trends since last Spring and Summer and it is going to stay forever. Now is the time to take out all your floral dresses from the past seasons and show them some sunshine.

In case you’re wondering what kind of floral dresses you should buy, then let me tell you that no floral prints are bad. Choose any floral print dress, skirt, blouse, shorts, rompers and flaunt your Summer swagger!

This is an old Garden tea party dress that I styled with red shirt & wore at The Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida. This darling dress is absolutely adorable and you can’t stop yourself twirling in it!
x) Flaunt some cute Cover-ups & Monokinis
For any tropical getaway, you need to pack your bikinis, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen but also your cover-ups as they protect you from UV rays. Whether your style is flowing pants, kimonos or kaftans, you can’t go to a beach without them.
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3614415″]
This Magenta kaftan is one of my favorite cover-ups that I got it last year from Miss Tunica. The fabric is very light and breezy. I wore this to my vacation in Palm Beach last month.
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3525509″]
I’ve been also crushing over this dark pink cover-up from Miss Tunica collection. I’ve styled it as a blouse over the shorts as well as used as a cover-up multiple times. The fabric is light and see-through but just perfect when you’ve to beat Florida’s heat.
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3614418″]
One trend that I’m loving lately is one piece swimsuits or monokini. It looks fresh, the silhouettes are flattering and give slightly a retro vibe. If you’re thinking of upgrading your swimming wears this Summer, either go for two-piece waist bikinis or monokinis as they are one of the hottest favorites.
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3614422″]
What I loved most about monokinis is that you can style it with shorts, skirts or pants and transform into multiple outfits.
