Goa Lookbook | What To Pack For Goa, India Vacation?
From scenic beaches to vibrant nightlife to a lot of sunshine, Goa is one of the most popular destinations in the world for a tropical vacation. If you’re planning for a Goa vacation soon and don’t know what to pack, don’t worry as I’ve got you covered with my Goa lookbook — an ultimate guide for keeping up with all the Goa fashion and up your style game!
What to pack for Goa resorts?
Pack a few Boho style dresses
Goa is the ultimate destination to embrace your Bohemian style. Pack a few pieces of long flowing or tiered skirts and dresses as per your style. Accessorize them with chunky pieces of jewelry and create your style statement. When it comes to resort wear, I’m a huge fan of boho pieces. Nothing can beat the style of long flowing bohemian dresses while lounging in a resort. The style looks great in Instagram pictures too!
On my recent Goa trip, I wore this gorgeous white boho dress from Rose Tree — a brand by Delhi based designer Chandni Kumar Singh. The fabric of this darling dress is cotton and super comfy to wear. This darling dress is a keeper.

Another dress from Rose Tree collection which I wore was this lavender dress with intrinsic handcrafted embroidery. The fabric is very light to beat the heat.

This dress was one of my favorites while lounging in a resort. It even looks great in pictures too.
A maxi dress will come handy
Maxi dress is one of the effortless styles when it comes to tropical vacation trends. Apart from your hotel/resort, you can wear a maxi dress almost everywhere in Goa. You can wear to the beach, while sightseeing, partying or just strolling around. However, I prefer a maxi dress only when I don’t have to walk a lot.

Whether your style is floral, stripes, prints or monochromatic colors, keep at least one maxi-dress and flaunt your style. Pair your maxi dress with a denim jacket or scarf and create different looks.
What to pack for Goa sight-seeing?
A Cotton/Linen dress or Culottes/Palazzos
Goa is hot and humid most of the time in a year. Pack only cotton/linen dresses, culottes or palazzos pants to beat the heat. Choose white or bold colors. Avoid black color pieces as it radiates heat and makes you feel super hot.

A few Sundresses/skirt would be a great idea
Nothing will look cuter than pretty, little sundresses. Choose bold colors as Goa has a lot of colorful and vibrant places for your Instagram-worthy pictures. A sundress is a versatile piece and you can wear a denim jacket or tie a shirt and create multiple outfits.

Pack a few colorful shorts & tops
Shorts are one of the most favorite pieces when it comes to a tropical vacation. Ditch your denim shorts and try some unconventional bold colors or printed shorts. These would be a great alternative for hiking or adventurous water sports in Goa, Pack a few pieces of blouses or tees and mix-match with your shorts and you’re good to go!

What to pack for Goa beaches?
From monokinis, bikinis, tank tops and shorts while swimming to kaftan, sarong, coverup or shift/maxi dress while strolling on the beach, you can wear anything that makes you feel comfortable. There’re also plenty of street shops near some popular beaches in Goa from where you can buy gorgeous beach wears. Carry sunscreen, hats and sunglasses to protect yourself from scorching heat of Goa.

What shoes to pack for a Goa vacation?
Pack a flip-flop for the beach or a market. A sandal or sneakers for sight-seeing. If you’re planning for a trek in Goa, don’t forget your comfy shoes.
What to pack in your make-up kit?
Carry your make-up kit and wear light or sweat-proof make-up to beat the outside humidity. Dry shampoo would also be a savior for those busy days when you have no time to wash your hair. Also, keep a sanitizer, tissue wipes, feminine hygiene products, and a mosquito repellant spray or cream in your traveling kit.
I hope my Goa packing guide gives you some style inspiration for your trip. No matter what your personal style is, wear clothes that make you feel beautiful and comfy. In the end, the most important thing is how much fun you had on your trip. Therefore, don’t forget to carry a bundle of energy on your Goa trip and enjoy to the fullest!

I have a vacation planned to the Florida Keys in May but with what’s going on the world now, it’s looking like we’ll have to cancel 🙁 BUT…if and when we go, I’ll be revisiting your post for all the great outfit ideas and links! They all seem perfect for FL, too! Thanks 🙂
